BRANDING
COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING RESOURCES
Created for Kansas City-based nonprofit The Resilient Activist, I designed this internal communications guide as part of a rebranding campaign to strengthen and simplify the organization's messaging.
Based off the Minute Message Model, this guide enhanced the nonprofit's communications by highlighting powerful impact statements, including:
- What core beliefs motivate the nonprofit
- What problems the nonprofit exists to solve
- What concrete impacts the nonprofit has
- How each of its programs fulfill its mission
Upon using this communications guide on an organization-wide level, The Resilient Activist has seen higher open rates and social media engagement, as well as positive feedback on the overall improved clarity of communications.
I created this Brand Guidelines document to consolidate nonprofit The Resilient Activist's core assets that build powerful brand core, brand persona, and brand positioning.
After organizing internal resources, creating resources that were missing, analyzing data to inform the creation of the Specialty Statement and Target Audience sections, collaborating with team members to craft a cohesive brand story, I designed and distributed this guide within the organization.
Since its implementation, this brand guide has enhanced brand consistency across platforms, reinforced a compelling brand identity, streamlined collaboration, and elevated the organization’s credibility.

I designed this Media Kit for Kansas City-based nonprofit The Resilient Activist to provide valuable brand resources, streamline media coverage, highlight brand identity, and illustrate the efficacy and impacts of its programming.
This Media Kit has been valuable for a variety of uses, including grant applications, networking events, and external partnerships.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Determined to raise awareness about the mental health impacts of the climate crisis and the vital role of Climate Cafés, I designed this five-part social media graphic which promote The Resilient Activist's Climate Café Gatherings.
As the primary graphic designer at nonprofit The Resilient Activist, I wanted to expand our graphic design assets for funding / advancement efforts.
Thus, I created a five-part donor impacts graphic to share compelling information on what impacts donors have when they give. Highlighted here is one of its five versions, which relies on impact statements and statistics to build brand credibility.
